Coffee is also known for her frequent roles on the show as Cassie Tatum on the TV show The West Wing in 2003 and Janie Ross on the show Franklin and Bash from 2011 to 2012. The actress also appeared on several episodes of TV series including Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, CSI: Miami, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, etc. Claire Thile of Nickel Creek married in 2013.
