Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director, and supermodel. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is reflected throughout her career as an actress and performer. She began her career as a model during the 70s, and quickly became one of the most well-known model actors. At the beginning of 1990, she began studying acting and theatre. Later, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable, where she was Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut movie. Her initial doubts were about her talent as an actor but the critics became impressed by her work. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was particularly admired by reviewers, since she could not be compared to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own words she never was passionate about the acting. After a prolonged absence, she decided to self-impose on herself to act in 2005. Then she returned by playing a character in the movie about superheroes Thor. In addition, she starred in her husbands Oscar prize-winning feature film Nightcrawler. Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes in the UFC. She started her professional career as an amateur athlete taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. She has gained a lot of recognition after joining the UFC due to both her on and off the octagon's successes. Namajunas was born on June 29th, 1992, at Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was brought up by the same Lithuanian family. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as a child. Her first appearance professionally aged 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she was able to win two fights via submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her admitted to the UFC's strawweight class in December 2014 when Rose was barely 22. Throughout Rose her career, she's gone through periods of both the highs and lows with each victory has been hers. In April, 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One and not just winning the title but also receiving the title of Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA since this match was the first time ever that a woman competed for a championship title in any of the major promotions worldwide . Namajunas had a number of wins following this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
